The Oxbow: More than an incident!

If you haven’t visited it yet, now is a great time. The woodland trails are open, the waterfront is -at long last  – view-able  and the fishing is great! Visit it now, before they pull the plug!

I live in Fairport, and my home is at The Oxbow section of The Erie Canal. I fish, have a pontoon boat and like messing in boats. (see I'm retired and enjoy every day living here with my wife Carol and our two dogs.

  1. I am glad you pointed out that these people were NOT squatters. I remember years ago the false reports and bad press they received. Those lies must have caused some bad people to think they had the right to burn down the cottages, and vandalize those homes. They weren’t all pretty, but they were private properties, and were out of the public eye, unlike the shacks on Canandaigua Lake pier.
